W1 select for enlarged view East India Company Pattern 1819 Cavalry Pistol

W2 select for enlarged view Lefaure Percussion Shotgun
20 bore DB shotgun by Lefaure of Paris in the briefly fashionable English style. Metalwork to brown patina and most of gold inlay remains. Barrels with Birmingham proofs and good bores. New nipples.
W3 select for enlarged view Japanese Matchlock
Octagonal 32" smoothbore barrel of 0.5" calibre. No ornamentation but most parts stamped with discreet Japanese characters and good patination on the brass. Breech plug has been removed and refitted with PTFE tape.
W4 select for enlarged view Mortimer Flintlock Shotgun
A fine 16 bore SB shotgun that's had a hard life. 35" octagonal to round barrel of good quality with gold insert stamped HW Mortimer & Co. Possibly back-converted from percussion. Good sparking lock.
W5 select for enlarged view W&J Rigby .451 Rifle
Half stocked rifle with heavy 32" octagonal barrel. Number 10708, sold to S Maynard in 1855, and subsequently sleeved with a Henry insert so not eligible for international competition. Single set trigger, detented lock, patch box in butt, and with Holbrook tang sight and early adjustable foresight. Excellent bore.
